Ghin with Heidi and Ruth... our young grannies who have looked after the boys... and me, since day 1. they are amazing. I do feel very very blessed being surrounded by amazing friends.

I did go running yesterday and i'll go running again today. I didn't drink. I did my piano. I did school. I had lunch with Ghin and then we went to get his trousers. I have been mostly good but did have an ice cream yesterday... But the running and sit ups are going well. Today i'l finish off organising the cupboard in the classroom. It has been wonderful really. I didn't manage to write out the curriculum though. But I know what I am going to be doing... Looks like it is going to be mostly dry.  I tried calling Ma and didn't get her. She's probably asleep, enjoying the air conditioning or out at the market buying lunch or something. It appears that Ghi's girlfriend is coming to visit him. I was absolutely living when I heard about it. He should have as few distractions as possible and I said to him that it is going to be absolutely vital that he not end up making a very poor impression in school when he first arrives. I h...

Can you believe this? Well the weather did clear up... and we did visit Lagan again and it was looking very good. I'm pleased Ghin got in there and I pleased that he is doing the subjects which he is doing. Prep is going well-ish... So many moving parts and of course so many many things to get done. I also went for my run yesterday, I did 50 sit ups, I played the piano and I did think about Atlantis. I have decided that I am going to go with my original story and keep working at it every day. I watched Westworld to the end and it was kinda boring, except for the Man in Black...messed up timelines... I suppose if I felt particularly energetic, I would have tried to look at the robots as the abused human beings and the people who visited Westworld as neoliberal capitalists.  But you know what it's so obvious now that fiction is no longer interesting. Reality has managed to supercede it. And I should go for my run now, but I just have to write about what...

The routine is has on day 2. I confess I was very tired after cleaning the classroom yesterday and did nothing after 2 pm... so today... after I get back, IF it isn't raining, I will do 1 hour of gardening and I will do 2 hours of clearning this table and Admin... 3 if needs be...  So today school, then home and rest, then garden and then admin... then class prep in the evening if I still have any energy left... I organised the library in the class yesterday. It was such a shambles, but it's alright now. And for the rest of the day I will be sorting out the cupboard. We are also going to see the Lagan people for Ghin's interview. I'm really happy he got into Lagan. It was good for Oisin and it will be good for Ghin.  Had a bottle of Prosecco yesterday with Emma. Blackboard painting assist Library tidy up Tedious but necessary... to make the library useable and coherent for the kids The best thing so far... my pristine blackboard I think the last time was painted it may have been painted by me... Organised the sea glass while talking to Ma Ma Cleaning out the classroom About 2/3rd of my time can be spent cleaning up the ,mess left in drawers and cupboards... this map drawer took around an hour to fully osrt. I had to repair the bottom of it as well. Thankfully I had a hammer... and knew what to do... I hammered the back of the drawer to repair the base. Then sorted all the papers... Organised and binned things Result! folded all the cloths and created a cooking equipment area May have to redo all this paint area Paint...
